Just do it

Since moving to New York, I‘ve been on a mission to do absolutely everything. I‘ve hiked probably 10 waterfalls in 3 months, hiked a mountain, and pretty much traveled to every part of New York. My favorite is New York City, shocker. As I‘m writing this, I’m on a train to Manhattan. I guess it’s…

I guess it’s just apart of my adventurous personality, but people have been asking me “How do you travel so much? It‘s so inspiring.” Which is really cool to hear, but also frustrating. If you want something you need to chase after it full speed. No half ass shit. My goal in life has been many things, but traveling the world has always been consistent. I work a full time job and on the weekends I plan out different landmarks to see. Local travel still counts as travel and seeing the world. I think people think they need to travel to a different continent for it to be considered traveling. It doesn’t have to be extravagant, it just needs to be consistent and it takes an open mind to accept the little accomplishments that lead up to the big dreams. It also teaches you to appreciate the little things in life. Actually taking the time and energy to see the world. Understand the environment and culture around you. Moving from Florida to New York has been a HUGE culture shock. The laws are different here, it snows, and even the people act, speak, and look different. I think it’s beautiful. So much of where one lives completely determines their life.

If you have a dream of traveling the world, start saving money, start local traveling, and the rest will all come along the way.

Love you guys. Lin
